Sunday Morning:
Worship is held every Sunday at 10:00 a.m with the celebration of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. Children of all ages are welcome. Everyone is invited to receive communion.
Gratitude is central to our understanding of worship here at Palisades. Saying “thank-you” to the Source of Our Being for the abundance of our lives is acknowledging with humility and grace that all we are and all we have been given is gift. We say thank you through our music, our prayers, our confessions and our yearnings for justice.
Here at Palisades we care less about fidelity to creeds and more about fidelity to God and to each other. We try to create a sacred space where we can come as we are…. full of the messy stuff that makes us human. Doubts and questions are not barriers to faith but a crucial element to authentic faith.
Sunday School:
There is Sunday School for pre-school children- 8th grade every week. The children begin with us in worship, share in the children’s message and then leave the sanctuary for classes. We foster a nurturing learning environment where children are encouraged to explore their relationship with God and each other while at the same time honoring their questions and doubts.
